Lately I have been reading through the book of Isaiah, and the past few chapters have given me so much awe of the Lord in seeing how all He does is for His glory.  In reading through Chapters 43-45 God says that He created us for His glory.  That is an amazing thought to ponder, that we were created to glorify the Lord, the Creator of everything!  He goes on to say that He wipes out our transgressions for His own sake.  Even His forgiveness and redemption are to bring glory to His name.  These are very humbling thoughts.  Yes, the Lord loves us so much that He redeems us and He draws us to Himself, but ultimately it is all about Him.  It is all about us causing His name to be glorified among the nations.  It is all about His kingdom coming and His will being done.  It is all about bringing glory to His Holy Name.   

I am beginning to fall in love with the book of Isaiah, and I look forward to sharing with you more of what the Lord is teaching me through it.  Be blessed!
