I hope you all have had a great holiday season. I have loved spending this time with my family and friends back home, but I am also excited to get back to Mexico to continue the work there. For now I have a prayer request for all of you. I am sure that many of you have heard about the rioting going on in Kenya, and I would like to ask all of you to keep the people of Kenya in your prayers. Some of the people AIM works with are being greatly affected; you can read more about what is happending and what AIM is doing in response to it at their website www.adventures.org. Please be praying especially for those in the slums as they are having trouble getting food in and are not being allowed to leave. I know that God can use all our prayers in a mighty way to bring about new hope for this hurting nation. God bless!

Thank you for keeping us posted on the needs of the people in Kenya and the riots there are taking place there plus the people who need food. I am praying for that situation.
Our Sunday School lesson this past Sunday (20th) was the verse where Jesus said, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you” What an encouragement to all of us who believe in the power of prayer!
