Yes, I do eat fruit with chili occasionally.  It's surprisingly delicious. 

I have been home for just about a month, and I am realizing that there are a few things I miss about Mexico. I wrote out a list of my top ten to share with you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it down.

10. Home-made Mexican meals.

9.  Elote (corn in a cup or on the cob with mayo, butter, chili, lime, and cheese).

8.  Baking cookies just to keep my house warm during the winter.

7.  Coke made with real sugar, served in a glass bottle.

6.   Speaking Spanish on a daily basis.

5.   Evening worship services with the groups that come to serve in Matamoros.

4.  Driving through the Matamoros mud after a rainy day.

3.  Tacos de bistek (steak tacos...yum!)

2.   A job centered on serving Christ.
