Happy New Year!  After three months in Matamoros, Mexico I am back home in Elizabethton, TN for Christmas Break, enjoying some time with my family and friends.  It has already been such a blessing to have time to rest at the Lord's feet and be refilled in His presence.  During my time in Mexico (and continuing even now at home) God has been teaching me more about walking out the victory that we have in Him.  So often we allow ourselves to be bound by our past, by our fears, by so many things, when Christ desires for us to live an abundant life in freedom (John 10:10, John 8:31-36).  I am still in the process of learning what this looks like, but I have come to know that this life will not just appear in our laps; we must choose to walk in it.  Christ offers us victory, but we must take it up.  So I challenge you all to live in the victory over sin, over fear, over bondage that Christ has to offer you, and I ask for your prayers as I seek to do the same.  God bless!
